If you're hoping to start a degree course in September 2022, there's still time to apply using UCAS Clearing. Read on to find out more about what Clearing is, who can apply through Clearing, and what you can study with us here at SMB College Group!
What is Clearing?
UCAS Clearing is how universities and colleges fill any remaining spaces on their courses before term starts in September. It launches on 5th July and remains open all the way through to 18th October.
Who can apply through Clearing?
You can apply through Clearing if:
-
- You’re applying after 30 June
- You didn’t receive any offers (or none that you wanted to accept)
- You didn’t meet the conditions of your offers
- You've paid the multiple choice UCAS application fee of £26.50

This All Sounds Great! How Do I Apply Through Clearing?
If you're interested in applying through Clearing, the first step is to make an enquiry.
Once you've submitted this, a member of staff from the course area you're interested in will give you a call to discuss your suitability for the course. Remember to have your full name, the title of the course you want to study, and your list of grades to hand for this phonecall.
Click here to fill in our Clearing Enquiry form!
During your phone call with one of our tutors, they will confirm if they're happy for you to add SMB College Group as your Clearing choice. This can be done by clicking 'Add Clearing Choice' in your UCAS application.
And you're done! Once you've added us as your Clearing choice, we'll review your application and, all being well, you'll be accepted onto the programme of your choice!
