    • Understanding environmental legislation, working practices and the principles of environmental technology systems
    • Electrical Installation Planning, Preparing and Designing

    • Understanding the principles, practices and legislation for the inspection, testing, commissioning and certification of electrotechnical systems and equipment in buildings, structures and the environment
    • Understanding the principles, practices and legislation for diagnosing and correcting electrical faults in electrotechnical systems and equipment in buildings, structures and the environment

    • Understand the Requirements of Electrical Installations
  • How will I learn?
    There will be extensive delivery of detailed electrical information and this is delivered in the classroom and the workshop.
  • How will I be assessed?
    EAL on-line examination, on-going assignments and a synoptic practical assessment at the end of the course.

    Inspection and Testing, Portable Appliance Testing, Electrical Engineering HNC/HND, Apprenticeships, and higher education.
  • What qualifications or experience do I need?
    Completion of Level 2 Electrical Installation. Maths and English grade 4.
