I've applied for a full-time college course - what happens next?

1. Application
The first step is to complete your application form here on our website (or you can apply via PS16, if that's what your school uses).

2. Assessment (specific courses only)
If you've applied to study Performing Arts or Equine (Riding Pathway), you will be invited in for an assessment prior to receiving your offical offer to study with us. This invite will be sent via email and will include all of the info you need to prepare for your assessment.

3. Offer email
You should receive your offer email confirming your place. This will include any conditions that you need to meet before Enrolment, e.g. achieving certain GCSE grades.

5. Student Welcome Day
You'll be invited to your Student Welcome Day over the summer where you can visit the campus, meet other students joining your class and have some fun, too!

6. Enrolment
The last step is joining us for your Enrolment session, which usually takes place at the end of August or the beginning of September. This is where we complete all your paperwork, answer any other questions you may have, and really make you feel #OneOfTheFamily.

How to Apply for your Degree!

Follow this easy step-by-step guide when applying for your degree with UCAS!

  1. Find the course for you - You can find all the courses we offer on our website. Choose up to 5 courses to increase your chances of securing a place.
  2. Visit the UCAS website: Register with UCAS and enter in your details - www.UCAS.com
  3. Write your personal statement - Make sure you include why you want to study your chosen course, what previous experience you have and what your career aspirations are.
  4. The Equal Consideration Deadline - The equal consideration deadline is at 6:00pm on Wednesday 25th January 2023. However, some providers (like us) may accept applications after this date.
  5. Keep an eye out for your offers! - The wait for decisions on your application can be agonising. It's a good idea to use this time effectively by familiarising yourself with the decisions they can make, so you know what to expect and what to do when the time comes.
  6. Pick your Firm & Insurance choices - Firm: This is your first choice. The place you most want to go to. If you accept a conditional offer and meet the conditions, you'll have a confirmed place here. Insurance: This is the choice you want if you didn't meet the conditions of your firm choice. If this is a conditional offer you'll need to meet the conditions for your place to be confirmed.
  7. Results Day - Find out your final grade and see if you've been accepted by your firm choice.

Good Luck!
