Stephenson Campus is our Technical and Trade campus, situated on the outskirts of Coalville. Our campus has state of the art working environments for Motor Vehicle, Construction and Engineering as well as fantastic facilities for Hair and Beauty and Health & Social Care, in addition, to open learning and classroom spaces.
The College design has been heralded as an example of best practice, offering an innovative, inclusive, and inspiring approach to learning and specialises in providing high-quality apprenticeship opportunities to students across the country. Stephenson Campus has secured impressive partnerships with the likes of Barratt Developments – one of the UKs top home builders, a partnership that has been recognised at the FE Week and AELP AAC Apprenticeship Awards, where Stephenson Campus and Barratt Developments were awarded Construction Apprenticeship Provider of the Year 2022.

Places To Eat
The campus has two dining areas, Gordon's, which is situated to the left of the main entrance, and George's, which is at the far end of the ground floor. Vending machines offering a variety of snacks are also available in both restaurants.
George's is open 5 days a week, from 8.30 am – 3.30 pm (2.30 pm on Fridays) and offers a wide variety of hot and cold food and beverages throughout the day. Gordon's is a seating area where students can eat their purchesed or packed lunch.
The Learning Resource Centre at Stephenson Campus provides learners with a place to study independently with access to computers, eBooks and digital resources needed to fulfil the requirements of your specific programme of study.

Location
Our Stephenson Campus is situated on the outskirts of Coalville, within walking distance of the town centre. It has easy access to shops, cafes and restaurants, and there's a bus stop right outside the campus for easy transport links.
If you love the outdoors, Coalville is in the heart of the National Forest and has several country parks and beautiful open spaces for you to enjoy the fresh air.
For those who enjoy a little history, Coalville is steeped in it - from Action Man to coal mining, Rocket Trains and even the Care Bears.
If you are more creative or artistic in nature, the town boasts an array of sculptures, statues, mosaics, and paintings, and is home to Britain’s oldest surviving travelling theatre, hosting live music, shows and films.
If shopping is your thing, the town offers a fantastic shopping experience. Alongside the usual high street names and some fantastic independent retailers, a traditional market is held on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
