Attending SMB College group isn’t just about gaining your qualification, it’s about new experiences, meeting new people, setting the foundations for your future self, and having fun while you're at it! 

As a student with SMB College Group, you will be part of a diverse community of individuals who are being empowered to reach their full potential. Our students are all at different stages of their careers: just leaving school, coming back into education after a break, undertaking an apprenticeship, starting their Degree, or undertaking a short course to further their career. 

No matter what campus you attend, we want you to feel like one of the family. Each campus has its own unique feel and specialisms but all are focused on delivering excellent student experiences; experiences that are not just about the quality of learning, but about life at SMB College group as a whole. From coaching sessions with Leicester Tigers to looking after the newborn lambs on our farm, and hearing from inspirational guest speakers throughout the year, we aim to make your learning with SMB College Group truly memorable.

We have big ambitions for every student that joins us, and aim to ensure you have an environment where you can flourish and achieve to the best of your ability.  We want our students to have the very best possible access to learning, which will enable them to leave us career-ready at the end of their study.

• We have a fantastic £3.6 million sports complex.
• Our students and alumni have gone on to win countless awards including, amongst other awards, an Oscar and a Bafta!
• We won 'Apprenticeship Provider of the Year' in 2022 for our Construction Apprenticeships in partnership with Barratt Homes!
• We recently won the Nachural Entrepreneurship Award for Promoting Apprenticeships! Recognising the excellent work that the college has undertaken in working with local and national businesses to offer apprenticeships, and train and up-skill their employees.
• We have one of the largest infinity green screens outside of London.
• We have state-of-the-art facilities, including our glasshouses and our hospital ward classroom.  
• Our equestrian facilities are nationally renowned, and include a state-of-the-art Equine Rehabilitation Centre.
• Brooksby Campus is set in 850 acres of beautiful gardens and farmland.

Our Campuses

Our campuses have excellent transport links to our local cities, including Leicester, Nottingham and Birmingham – you can even get to London in just over an hour. Locally, there's loads of live music and events, Melton is the Rural Food capital of the UK and home of the humble Pork Pie, and our Stephenson Campus is right in the heart of the National Forest.
