I highly recommend Brooksby for anybody wanting to go on to work in the Equine industry, as I believe it is a great setup to supply the knowledge and experience needed in the outside world.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a student at Brooksby. Doing an Equine course allowed me to understand and learn about the industry in which I was entering, as well as extend my knowledge of horse care, business management, and equine science topics.
The social aspect of the college was fantastic, and have made great friends with the other students I was surrounded by.
Since leaving Brooksby, I have gone on to compete at 4* eventing with success, including finishing 6th at the Young rider national championships in 2021 and being selected onto the team GBR young rider European event squad.
I have worked on a 5 event yard for 3 years, as a travelling groom and second rider to Richard Jones, and have recently relocated to a private event yard working and riding for 4 rider Alex Tordoff.
