During my time at the college I had the opportunity to play lead roles in brilliant musicals like 'Footloose' and 'Fame!' in the beautiful onsite theatre, but I also got an insight into other jobs that exist within the industry; for example, when me and a classmate designed the lighting for one of our projects.
The tutors at Melton are very caring knowledgable, and filled me with the confidence and drive I needed to pursue my dream career. I also made life long friends at the college and learnt lots about the beginnings and theoretical side of performing arts. The courses make sure you experience a fair amount of each discipline, even if you have specialised in just acting or dancing, or musical theatre.
I went on to study for a year at The London School of Musical Theatre, signed with an agent, and now I am an audition-going, scrimp-and-saving actress!
