“I am currently in my second year of the Equine Performance Science Foundation degree, and I previously studied Level 3 Equine Management at Brooksby, also. The degree is opening us up to lots of different opportunities and getting us experience across all the sectors. We do everything from stay away trips to theory and practical work here on campus, while having guest speakers come and give us an insight into the industry and different career pathways that we could take.
I am hoping to complete the BSc Hons Equine Performance with Business (Top-up) course next year, which means I will have the full degree title. Alongside this, I am also in the process of completing my BHS Stage 2 exams.
I am currently working on a large stud/breaking yard alongside completing the Foundation Degree, which is allowing me to put the knowledge that I am learning to use in industry while being able to work in a job that I am passionate about."
