I first joined the SMB Group (Formally Brooksby Melton College) as a student in 2016 and enrolled on the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport. This course provided me with the opportunity to progress onto the FdSc Sports Science course, followed by the BSc (Hons) Sports Science (Top-Up), resulting in me obtaining a First-Class Degree.
This was far from easy to achieve, but it was made possible due to the full support and expert knowledge that the sports department provided through every lesson.
The department also provided excellent opportunities to receive first hand experience in a wide range of career routes that the courses offer.
I am now currently working with the SMB Group as a Progress Tutor and Sports Supervisor, while also completing a Level 5 Diploma in Teaching and Learning. The SMB Group is a fantastic place to both study and work for, and I look forward to continuing my career with them.
