My time at Brooksby was truly memorable. Whilst I studied acting for two years, I felt very much a part of something much bigger in the whole performing arts department, working like a professional company, yet with the support of a family.
The range and quality of lecturers was beyond compare and I still can't speak highly enough of the lecturers that have made an impact on my career both through skill base training, and excellent pastoral support. The career focussed approach provided, by lecturers who are/were industry professionals is for me the best thing about SMB, making it the perfect springboard for my career." And after Brooksby I worked at various schools, working with performing arts, and special educational needs. As well as working freelance as a drama teacher, and running my own youth theatre and managing kids holiday clubs. I am now training at Birmingham school of acting studying BA(Hons) applied performance (community & education)
