The Board of Governors are responsible for the overall functioning of the college. It is a requirement that, much like schools, colleges have a governing body.
The SMB College Group's Governing Body members consist of volunteers from the community, staff members and students. Our Governors bring experience from a wide range of sectors and industries including business, education, and the public service sector.
Independent members are appointed by the Governing Body, Staff Governors are elected by the staff, and Student Governors are elected by our students.
The Governing Body meets at least once a term with the minutes being published after they have undergone an approval process.
