Hours: 37 hours per week 36 weeks per year.  Includes half a day training.

Apprenticeship salary scale (actual pro rata’d salary)

                         Aged 16 – 18 or aged 19+ in 1st year of apprenticeship £10,214.86

                         Aged 19 – 20 in 2nd year of apprenticeship = £13,515.04

                         Aged 21 in 2nd year of apprenticeship = £17,977.12

Based at our Brooksby Campus

The SMB Group is a highly successful FE college, formed through the merger of Stephenson College and Brooksby Melton College. We are an innovative and highly responsive centre for education and training with campuses in Coalville and Brooksby.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the College for four Apprenticeship Learning Support Workers to join the team based at our Brooksby Campus.  Working in this role you will be trained on delivering individual/group identified support so that students may fully access the college curriculum.

You will need to attend weekly half a day apprenticeship training, during term time, at Loughborough College.  A GCSE pass or FS Level 2 in Maths and English is essential to start the apprenticeship.
