We are an innovative and highly responsive centre for education and training with campuses in Coalville, Melton Mowbray and Brooksby.

We are looking for an Inspiring and enthusiastic Lecturers/Assessors with knowledge and experience in the Fork Lift Truck maintenance and repair sector, with the ability to deliver an array of engineering skills, knowledge and related behaviours in our new provision. Delivery will mainly be to students on commercial courses or delivering on our apprenticeship programmes, assessments and support of apprentices will take place in their workplaces. You may currently be working in a lift truck maintenance and repair setting or within a preparation/refurbishment centre looking for your first job in teaching. If your skills and experience include working within the lift truck sector using new technologies, we would like to hear from you.

Working as part of the automotive team you will be responsible for the delivery and development of courses. You will possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of lift truck technology and be able to plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques. If new to teaching we will support your progression into teaching and learning.

We hope to add value to our team during this process taking on a person with a passion to share their knowledge and experience with others. Who has worked with the sector throughout their careers, who would like to support the SMB Groups automotive provision to continually improve year on year by offering what our customers what they require exceeding their expectations.

As well as your relevant experience and current knowledge, you will also be willing to obtain a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) if you do not already possess one.
