School Lambing Visits (Various Dates & Times Available Beginning 17th March)

You're invited to come and visit us at our Brooksby Campus Farm to learn about all things lambing! Join us for an educational visit to find out all about life on Brooksby's Hall Farm, which is home to sheep, cows and a wide range of interesting wildlife!

About The Visit

We are offering one morning and one afternoon visit every day from Monday 17th March - Friday 11th April. You can choose your slot when filling out your booking form. This year we also have the opportunity for full day sessions. On Mondays we'll be offering a free Green Gym addition on the 9:30 – 14:30 session (excluding 24th March). On Wednesdays and Thursdays, we'll be offering funded LEAF (Linking Education And Farming) sessions alongside the lambing sessions. The visit can cover:

• Lambing/calving
• The exciting world of plants
• Wildlife & insects
• The changing of the seasons
• Biology/birth
• How food is grown
• and lots more! 

If there's something specific that you'd like us to cover to fit in with your school's lessons/topics, let us know and we'll see what we can do! 

Lunch facilities can be made available on request.

Terms & Conditions

• The maximum number of children/learners per session is 35 (plus adults)
• If your pupils are years 1 - 3, you can bring one free adult per 6 children. Otherwise, you can bring one free adult per 10 learners.
• The total cost of your visit will depend on how many students you bring, with the cost for each learner being £4. 
• The minimum charge for a visit is £40, which needs to be paid as a deposit for your visit. We will invoice you for the remainder of the charge after your visit, which will be payable within 30 days of the invoiced date.
• The inital booking form is free to submit but your booking will be marked as provisional until you have paid your £40 deposit to our Finance team. • If any members of your group or require an additional risk assessment completing for any other reason prior to your visit, please get in touch at least two weeks before you are due to visit us to arrange this.
