Based at SMB College Group’s Stephenson Campus in Coalville, the brand new HITZ Jump into Employment course offers a fantastic opportunity for young people to enhance their employability skills.
This 16-week programme, which has been specially developed for 16-19 year olds who are not in Education, Employment or Training, will enable young people to tackle challenges and develop skills that can lead them into employment and/or development opportunities.
Learners will have the opportunity to gain their Maths, English and Level 2 Work Skills qualifications, in addition to taking part in work experience, physical activity and bespoke personal development sessions.
Tilly Higgs, Inclusion Manager at Leicester Tigers, said ‘We are really excited at the Leicester Tigers Foundation to work in collaboration with SMB College Group on The HITZ Jump into Employment course. After an extremely challenging year, it feels important that we are able to offer a course focused on enhancing the employability of young people, with a strong focus on health and wellbeing.’
