SMB College Group’s Stephenson Campus is the first Resideo Academy in the country following an exciting new partnership!
The partnership between SMB College Group and Resideo brings new technology developments into the classroom, to train the next generation of Plumbers on the latest advancements and products in the industry.
Resideo will be using one of the Stephenson Campus’ classrooms for training throughout the year and will be supporting SMB College Group learners to gain new skills too.
The classroom offered to Resideo by SMB College Group has had brand new artwork displayed, featuring a variety of Resideo products, alongside useful information for learners and visitors to read.
Additionally, Resideo donated a range of their products to the College, including motorised valves, TRVs, CO2 detectors and wiring boards.
Section Manager, Mark Bradbury, said that "It's always important to create partnerships that put the students at the heart of everything we do.
“Working with Resideo will give all our current and future students the opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of heating controls, which will enable them to help our collective drive towards energy efficiency!"

SMB College Group’s Stephenson Campus in Coalville have recently renovated their Plumbing workshops, so students studying there will benefit from brand-new, state-of-the-art facilities. The Stephenson Campus is well-known for its construction and trade courses, where it recently won Construction Apprenticeship Provider of the Year for their fantastic partnership with Barratt Homes.
