SMB College Group Level 3 Advanced Carpentry and Joinery student Ben Smith, has completed his apprenticeship with Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes!

Based in Treledan, Saltash, Ben has been undertaking his studies at the College’s technical and trade Stephenson Campus in Coalville while becoming a fully qualified Carpenter through his advanced site carpentry apprenticeship with Barratt Developments.

Michaela Dring, PA to Construction Director at Barratt Developments, said ‘Well done to one of our apprentices Ben who passed his Advanced Carpentry and Joinery Level 3! We are all very proud of your hard work! Our apprentices are incredibly looked after and supported and it’s great to see lots of happy faces come the end of a successful apprenticeship!’

Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer and Ben’s tutor, Rob Brandrick, said: ‘Congratulations Ben in the completion of your Level 3 Advanced Site Carpentry. Through your hard work and determination throughout your time on the course at SMB College Group, Stephenson Campus, you have achieved the qualification within the 12 months concluding with your successful EPA results. Good luck Ben for the future in your career!’
