SMB College Group Hairdressing student, Charlotte Musson (Beau Hair Creation), is proud to announce that she has been shortlisted in the UK Hair and Beauty Awards for the Best New Talent category.
Charlotte said “I am so pleased to announce that I have made it as a finalist in the Hair and Beauty Awards UK for Best New Talent regarding my cuts and colour work. Having only been officially hairdressing for just over a year now, I am so proud of myself for not only achieving this finalist spot, but also for getting where I am today! I completely dedicate myself to my hair work and putting a smile on a client’s face is one of the best feelings in the world. I certainly couldn’t have done it without my amazing clients, my friends and family, and of course my tutors (Julie, Alice and Karen) from my Level 2 and 3 Evening Hairdressing Course at SMB College Group – Stephenson Campus”
Charlotte has been studying with SMB College Group at their Stephenson Campus since September 2021, first studying the Level 2 Evening Hairdressing Course and then progressing onto Level 3 Hairdressing.
“Having been wanting to pursue a career in hairdressing but never got the chance to attend daytime courses, SMB College Group has allowed me to chase my dreams and officially become a self-employed hairdresser, allowing me to work and study around family life.” Said Charlotte.

The UK Hair and Beauty Awards celebrate the Hair and Beauty industry in an aim to support businesses both large and small, exposing candidates to new opportunities via social media no matter their financial and social status.
