The Level 1 Diploma in Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children's and Young People's Settings is a one-year course that aims to develop your knowledge and awareness of health, social care in children's and young people's settings. It is aimed at learners who wish to develop an understanding of the similarities and differences between these settings.

You will be taught using a range of methods to support and develop your understanding.

Learners will be required to apply for a DBS as a part of the work experience requirements for this course. This will cost approximately £50.

    You will continue to study Maths and English alongisde this course.

    You will be assessed through assignments, projects, and course work.
  • Where could this course lead to?
    Progression onto the Level 2 Health and Social Care course if Maths and English is achieved at 3 or above.
  • What qualifications or experience do I need?
    Grade 2 or above in Maths and English.
