Projects include: Film, TV and Radio; Classical Theatre; Contemporary Theatre; Pantomime; Company Performance. Skills and techniques include: Devising Plays; Physical Theatre; Acting Styles and Practitioners; Audition Techniques; Theatre for Children; Rehearsing and Performing.

Where could this course lead to?
Learners may wish to progress onto our Performing Arts Degree course, which is delivered in partnership with the University of East Anglia. Alternatively, students may wish to progress directly into employment within the Performing Arts industry. Many of our past students have gone on to undertake a wide range of roles within the performing arts and theatre industry, gaining employment with prestigious companies across the globe. Many students have gone on to Drama Schools, universities, or directly into employment. Previous students have successfully gained places at East 15, Mountview, AADA (New York and LA), Arden School of Theatre and Birmingham School of Acting. Others have successfully gained employment with BBC (Silk, Silent Witness), Channel 4 (Skins), HBO (Camelot) and the Disney Channel.

What qualifications or experience do I need?
5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above including English, or Level 2 Performing Arts and Level 1 Functional Skills. An audition will also be required. If you miss the English and/or Maths requirements of your course, don't worry - there are options to study these alongside your course.
