This course is an introduction to all areas of the performing arts industry. You will develop a variety of skills including front of house and production techniques, all designed to help you towards your final end of year project.

  • What will I learn?
    Modules include: Musical Theatre; Drama Performance; Working in the Industry; Professional Development; Final Major Project.
  • Where could this course lead to?
    Successful completion of this course will allow you to progress onto a Level 3 course in a related area, such as Acting, Dance, Musical Theatre or Technical Theatre.
  • What qualifications or experience do I need?
    4 GCSEs at Grade D/3 or above including English, or Performing Arts GCSE. An audition will also be required. If you miss the English and/or Maths requirements of your course, don't worry - there are options to study these alongside your course.
