What will I learn?
Typical units include: Investigate employment in the uniformed services; Physical fitness for the uniformed services; Develop team working and problem solving skills; Health and safety in the uniformed services; Health and hygiene in the uniformed services; Follow uniformed service routine; Exploring equality and diversity for the uniformed services; Carry out Map Reading and Navigation; Explore the Use of Telecommunication in the Uniformed Services; UPS learners also have opportunities to do Sports Leaders Level 2 and Duke of Edinburgh awards.

Where could this course lead to?
Successful completion of the course will provide learners with a diverse introduction to Public Services, helping them to develop the knowledge and skills needed to progress onto Level 3 Uniformed Services. Career paths include the Police, Fire Service, Army, Royal Marines, Royal Navy, Prison Service, RAF and more!

What qualifications or experience do I need?
4 GCSEs at Grade D/3 or above including English, or Sport Level 1 (or similar). If you miss the English and/or Maths requirements of your course, don't worry - there are options to study these alongside your course.
