What will I learn?
You will study units including:
- Health and Safety
- Prepare for work experience
- Maintain Animal Health and Well-being
- Assist with moving, handling and maintaining animal accommodation
- Animals in the wild and their main features
- Assist with feeding and watering animals
- Assist with exercising animals.
This course involves both theory and practical, which will allow you to develop your skills in all areas of animal care. There will also be an emphasis developing key personal skills that will allow learners to progress on to futher study.
