This is a 2 year course, with the first year being a HNC (Level 4) and the second year being a HND (Level 5).

- Anthrozoology
- Evolution and adaptations
- Breeding and Genetics
- Behavioural approaches to animal management
80 hours of work experience is also required.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment methods are varied dependent on the module but include written reports, practical delivery, professional discussions and presentations.

Where could this course lead to?
Upon successful completion of the HND programme students will be equipped with all the skills they need to gain employment in their chosen area.

What qualifications or experience do I need?
48 UCAS points either from A Levels or a relevant Level 3 qualification. You must also hold English, Maths and Science GCSEs at grade 4 or above. Applications from adult students are also accepted and will be considered on an individual basis, subject to previous experience within the sector.
