Think you might like to do a T Level, but need more time to get ready?

The T Level Transition Programme will help you develop your skills, knowledge and behaviour in order to prepare you for the next level. It's a one-year post-GCSE course designed to get you T Level ready. It will give you relevant knowledge, practical and study skills, work experience and support tailored to you and your chosen T Level subject area.

What's different about the T Level Transition Programme?

The T Level Transition Programme is purposely designed to give you the best chance of progressing onto your chosen T Level and successfully completing it. It's been developed with leading employers, schools and colleges who have provided their unique understanding of the knowledge, skills and behaviours that you will need for your next step, and that industry employers look for in future employees.

  • What will I learn?
    The T Level Transition Programme in Engineering and Manufacturing will prepare you for the T Level in Engineering Manufacturing. As part of the course, you will focus on gaining the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed within the engineering industry as well as learning the following specialist units such as: Working in an Engineering Environment and Engineering Techniques. You will carry out work placement with an engineering company to develop and enhance your technical and employability skills. Furthermore, you will continue to develop your Maths and English skills which will equip you with the foundations to progress onto our T level programme.
  • How will I be assessed?
    This course will be assessed via exams, employer-based projects and assignments
  • Where could this course lead to?
    Students who achieve this qualification can progress onto the T Level Engineering, Manufacturing.
  • What qualifications or experience do I need?
    Relevant Level 1 qualification or GCSEs in both English and Maths at grade 3 or above, plus a further two GCSEs at grade 2 or above, one of which would ideally include a science or technical based subject.
