Our Beauty Therapy Level 2 course will help you to develop and learn to be the best Therapist you can be. Our expert tutors will guide you into carrying out manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing, eye treatments and make-up. Our industry experts will apply workshops to help further develop you in your training to stand out from the rest. Enrichment course such as lash lift and tint, ear piercing and brow lamination will ensure you are on trend and ready to work in industry.
It is essential to have kit and uniform for this course to maintain professional standards. This will cost approximately £55 for uniform and £115 for kit.

Additoinal enrichment courses such as lash lift and tint, ear piercing and brow lamination will ensure you are on trend and ready to work in industry.
During the course you will also be given the opportunity to attend master class workshops and employer involvement activities. These can include visits, make-up demonstrations, beauty exhibitions, competitions and lectures from industry experts. Work experience is an important part of the course giving you an opportunity to develop employability skills and build your confidence in carrying out a range of treatments.
We also work with Ragdale Hall Spa, providing work experience and enrichment for Beauty Therapy students, with many of our alumni having gone on to work at the spa.. Ragdale Hall recognises the college as a 'Platinum College of Excellence' for our work in educating high quality Beauty Therapists.
You will continue to study Maths and English alongside your course if you have not already achieved a Grade 4 at GCSE.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment consists of internally set coursework and assignments, practical, controlled assessments and on-line exams.

Where could this course lead to?
Students can progress onto the level 3 course or move into full-time employment performing a range of beauty treatments. On Level 3 beauty therapy you will carry out units such as massage, electrical facials and body electrical treatments. Altenatively, students can gain employment in a variety of beauty therapy settings. These include beauty salons, cosmetic companies, hotels or health clubs. Or work self-employed as a level 2 therapist.
